The University of Miami/Jackson Health System Family Medicine Residency Program welcomes applications from visiting medical students through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program.
Visiting Students
Our Inpatient Family Medicine Sub-Internship is the only rotation currently available to visiting students and is housed at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Availability is limited and depends on University of Miami medical student enrollment, which affects which blocks are open to visiting students each year.
All visiting student applications are processed exclusively through VSLO. We are unable to accept applications outside of this process.
Observerships
We do not offer observerships and are unable to accommodate requests regarding observership opportunities.
We appreciate your interest in our program and encourage eligible medical students to monitor VSLO for application timelines and available rotations.
