Fatigue Mitigation

Jackson provides transportation and other services if a resident or fellow feels fatigued and is concerned about falling asleep while driving home from work. The following options are available:

• Use of a sleeping room (call rooms are available 24/7 at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Central Staff Office – East Tower 2090 and 2003G). For more information, call 305-585-6095
• Jackson-provided round-trip public transportation (bus, metro-rail)
• Jackson-provided hospital transportation
• Jackson-provided one-way taxi

Financial support is also available for transportation to your home. For approval, please contact the administrator in charge at 786-299-7517.
