Program Director’s Welcome

Program Director’s Welcome

The fellow reviews cases from three major institutions, including a multidisciplinary cancer center (Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center), a large tertiary hospital (Jackson Memorial Hospital) and several private hospitals (University of Miami Hospital and other primary care satellite clinics) and the private consultation cases of Drs. Rosenberg and Montgomery. The fellow works closely alongside the residents from our AP/CP training program and is responsible for all consultation cases, many in-house specimens, and participation in the two weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards. There are no direct grossing responsibilities (except for resident and PA supervision and guidance). It is expected that the fellow will participate in and complete translational research projects that will result in publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
Our fellowship program has been active since 2020, and provides a robust education-friendly environment.

Andrew E. Rosenberg M.D.
